DUAL CUPS
A LINE OF DUAL – MOBILITY CUPS ADES and ADES+
ADES and ADES+ are dual-mobility ace tabular cups. The anti-dislocation efficacy of dual-mobility ace tabular cups has been demonstrated forever 20 years.
۱- METAL-BACK CUP FEATURES
The metal-back cup is made of chrome-cobalt. This biomaterial has better wear characteristics with polyethylene than other biocompatible alloys. The ADES metal-back cup was specially designed produce an amplitude of more than 130 and to increase the load-bearing surface with the polyethylene insert during physical exercise such as walking, standing etc.Cement less ADES and ADES+: the outer surface of the ace tabular cups has tow layers: a rough plasma layer of 200 um Cr-Co and a 100 um layer of hydroxyaptite to help secondary fixation. During reconstruction or first intention surgery with uncertain press-fit primary fixation, the ADES+ ace tabular cup makes extra-cotyloid fixation possible using an iliac screw and tow pegs screwed info the public horn and the ischium.
Cemented ADES: the outer surface of the ace tabular cup has grooves that receive the cement.
۲- ACETABULAR CUPS AND INSERTS
۲٫۱ ADES acetabular cups
All dual-mobility acetabular cups are made of Chome-Cobalt (ISO 5832-4). Cementless ADES and ADES+ have a Cr-Co layer (ISO 5832-4) and HAP layer (ISO 13779-1). The range of metal-back cups covers Ø۴۴ to Ø۶۸٫
۲٫۲ ADES Inserts
Inserts are in UHMWPE in compliance with the ISO 5834-1 & 2 standard. They are sterilized with ethylene oxide to preserve their mechanical properties. The range of femoral head inserts is avai – label is sizes Ø۲۲٫۲ or Ø۲۸٫
۲٫۳ ADES+ fixation pegs
Fixation pegs are Chrome\Cobalt in compliance ISO 5832-4
۲٫۴ ADES+ fixation screws
Cortical fixation screws are made of stainless steel 316L (ISO 5832-1) or Cr-Co (ISO 5832-4). Dedienne santé recommend using Cr-Co screws.
